Prayers of the people

Compassionate God, you have freed us by giving your only Son.
Through your Son you heal us.
Through your Son Jesus, you renew us and revive us.
Help us to be with your Son always.
Empower us to be in your love, as we wait for you.

Christ, your spirit lives within every human being.
Through your spirit, you provide joy, love, faith, and victory in life.
You give us all these blessings.
May you give these blessing to those who serve you in every nation, in various forms and ministries.

Jesus, thank you for empowering us to live in you.
Continually inspire us to live in mutual love, and respect.
Empower us to serve the human family.

Christ, you take our weakness and take charge of our future.
We want to be new beings in you.
So, we pray for our family and friends, all who ask for our prayers and who pray for us, whom we name before you now (speak out the names).
Jesus, give them peaceful healing.
Help them to know that you are with them.

Christ Jesus, you give your life for us in order to redeem us and to purify a people to be your very own.
Touch and heal our minds, and fill them with your love and power as we pray the prayer that Jesus taught us.

“Our Father in heaven, holy is your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”
